CENTRAL ALBERTANS EAGER TO TRY LIFE ON A BIKE

EDMONTON, AB (February 4, 2014) – The Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton took place January 17-19, at the Edmonton Expo Centre, Northlands. The industry`s premiere event featured the new line-up of 2014 makes and models from all the major manufacturers.

Over 34,000 Central Alberta motorcycle enthusiasts and want to be riders made their way down to the Expo Centre to enjoy all that the Show had to offer.

The always popular She Rides Nite was a roaring success and was capped off in style when finalist Wanda Plasko from Leduc turned the ignition key to win a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja EX300, courtesy of Canadian Kawasaki Motors, Echo Cycle, and E & S Motorcycles.

The Yamaha Riding Academy for kids 6-12 years saw throngs of youngsters go through the sessions, providing them an opportunity to give off road riding a try. The Observed Trials demonstrations featuring Jordan Szoke and Albertan Lexi Pechout were extremely well attended by curious and awe struck show goers. Audiences were thrilled by the jaw dropping antics of the Evolution of Extreme Show MX Freestyle riders and the street stunts performed by Team Empire.

The Show wrapped up on Sunday with an elimination style draw. Many finalists tried their luck before Bryce Morrison from Edmonton pulled the winning card and was presented with a Triumph Bonneville T100 valued at over $11,000, courtesy of Triumph Motorcycles and Echo Cycle. Needless to say Bryce is eager for the 2014 riding season to get underway.
