MONCTON, NB (February 4, 2016) – Excitement is building as motorcycle enthusiasts start counting down the days to when the Motorcycle & ATV Show Moncton takes over the Moncton Coliseum, February 12-14. The Moncton Motorcycle & ATV Show is the biggest manufacturers’ show in Atlantic Canada, with a wide-ranging and exciting line-up of exhibitors that celebrates the motorcycle and off-road vehicle lifestyle. From the open road, to the track and to the trail, this is your chance to see the newest models from the big names, plus the latest in apparel, accessories and touring destinations – all under one roof. The show is jam-packed with special features and events that are sure to please riders of all ages, including the kids.
Among the main attractions at this year’s show in Moncton will be a draw for a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja EX300, donated by Canadian Kawasaki and its dealership G. Bourque Ltd. of Dieppe, at She Rides Nite on Friday, February 12. In addition to a chance to win a new bike – a first for the Moncton event – female motorcycle enthusiasts will receive half-price admission after 5 p.m.
Other highlights will include: the Yamaha Riding Academy, which introduces kids to the sport in a safe, supervised environment; trials demonstrations by the Bélanger family from Quebec; and various “how to” riding sessions led by Clinton Smout.
Hours are: Friday, February 12, 12-9 p.m.; Saturday, February 13, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday, February 14, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission prices are: Family (2 adults, 2 youth) – $33; Adults (15+) – $12.50 ; Youth (6-14 years) – $8; Seniors (65+) -$9; Ladies Night – $6.25 (after 5 p.m Friday only); Children (under 6) – free when accompanied by an adult; online (in advance) $1.50 discount on an adult admission (if purchased prior to Feb. 10). All prices include HST. Presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance and produced by Power Sport Services, the Moncton event is the only Atlantic stop on its Canada-wide, seven-city motorcycle show tour.
