Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls

CALGARY, AB (December 18, 2017) – The doors to the 2018 Motorcycle Show – Calgary, presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance open at noon on January 5th at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park.  The Show runs until 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 7th.  This is the first opportunity to see all the newest models from the biggest names in the industry, whether it is two wheels, three wheels or four, you will find it all under one roof.

“The Ground N’ Gravity Show is one of the highlights of the Show as it appeals to riders and non-riders alike “ says Laurie Paetz, Show Manager, “The feats you will see performed in the air and the stunts on the arena floor are sure to take your breath away, as all the laws of gravity seemed to be defied.”

This year’s Ground N’ Gravity Show features an impressive cast of characters including some of the biggest names in Freestyle. Keith Sayers, Jeremy “TwitchThis” Stenberg, Chad Bauman, and Alberta’s own Billy Kohut will be performing aerial stunts while Craig Latimer treats the audience to a demonstration of stunts including versions and variations of burn outs, stoppies and wheelies among other tricks.  These performances are worth the price of admission.

Friday evening after 5:00 pm all ladies will receive half price admission.  SHE Rides Night is a celebration of female riders, or soon to be riders. One lucky lady in attendance will ride away on a brand new 2018 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 ABS, courtesy of Canadian Kawasaki.

Treat the youngsters in the family to a one of a kind experience by signing them up for a session at the Yamaha Riding Academy.  They will be outfitted in the latest motocross gear and receive instruction on safety and how to ride and maneuver a motorcycle.  Following the instruction they will have the opportunity to take to the track to hone their skills in a supervised secure environment.

The Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group always provides an impressive exhibit of vintage motorcycles and this year will be no exception.  Their exhibit will focus on “diversity”.  All the bikes on display have been collected, restored and preserved by their owners and they more than willing to share their stories with other enthusiasts.

Calgary is very fortunate to have an extremely active and dedicated riding community which hosts a number of charity rides each year to help to raise funds for a variety of local charities.  Many of which will be represented at the Show.  Choose a cause that is near and dear to you, and sign up to participate in the next fundraiser.

Take a break in the “Handle Bar” and peruse the showcase of one of a kind customs provided by Ill Fated Kustoms or relax in the unique atmosphere created specifically to pay homage to the motorcycle lifestyle.

If you are fortunate enough to own the ride of your dreams you will want to check out the full range of aftermarket accessories, gear and apparel, products, services, clubs and associations, or touring destinations that cater specifically to the needs of the motorcycle enthusiast. Come get your fix at the 2018 Motorcycle Show – Calgary.
