Let The Countdown Begin

CALGARY, AB (November 3, 2016)  – The Motorcycle Show – Calgary will roll into the BMO Centre, Stampede Park January 6-8, 2017.  There is no better way to kick off the new year than getting a sneak peak at all the new 2017 motorcycle, scooter, ATV and side-by-side models available from all the major manufacturers. This year’s Show will feature the latest and greatest of all things related to riding including apparel, accessories, touring destinations, clubs and associations and charity rides.

For most Southern Alberta riders the Motorcycle Show – Calgary is the first glimmer of hope that the riding season isn’t all that far off, “ says Laurie Paetz, Show Manager, “this is the perfect time to check out what’s new on two, three and four wheels.

The Show offers exhibits, entertainment and information sessions which are sure to please riders of all ages, including the ever-popular MX Freestyle and stunt show, which this year will feature Jordan Szoke and family wowing audiences with their Trials riding skills, the Yamaha Riding Academy for kids ages 6 through 12; these sessions introduce kids to the sport in a safe, supervised environment, Clinton Smout’s “Learn to Ride” sessions which have always proven to be both educational and enlightening for new riders, and She Rides, which takes place on Friday, January 6th, all ladies receive half price admission after 5:00 pm.

For those that believe that “things get better with age” the vintage display is sure to stop you in your tracks. These bikes have been meticulously restored and maintained by their owners for decades and truly put into perspective how far motorcycles have come.

There isn’t a rider out there that doesn’t consider themselves unique, and nowhere is that more obvious than in the gallery of custom bikes on display.  These one of a kind works of art reflect the unique personalities of those they were built for.
