MORE THAN 19,000 VISITORS IN 3 DAYS! THE QUEBEC CITY MOTORCYCLE AND ATV SHOW IS AS POPULAR AS EVER AND SHOWING NO SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN!

Quebec, Friday February 12th, 2016 – The riding community came out in full force this past weekend for the Quebec City Motorcycle and ATV Show.  Close to 19,500 visitors attended the very popular event that took place from February 5-7, 2016 at the Centre de foires, Expocite.  “The mild winter weather we’ve been having over the last few months has definitely got everyone feeling optimistic about an early start to the 2016 riding season” said Bianca Kennedy, Show Manager.  “You could really feel the enthusiasm, excitement and anticipation throughout the halls of the show.  Spring is just around the corner and the countdown to March 15th – the first official riding day in Quebec – is now on”.

There was a real fervour and eagerness on the show floor, both among exhibitors and visitors.  The quantity of new motorcycles and ATVs on display was impressive, and the selection of new gear and technology had visitors buzzing.  Riders of all skill levels and styles were thrilled with the quality and variety of products from the show’s 100+ exhibitors.

She Rides Nite on Friday February 5th, was a huge success!  Close to 900 women benefited from 1/2 price admission after 5 pm – a 20% increase in participation compared to 2015.  One of these ladies, Claudia from Quebec, left the show Friday night, the proud owner of a new 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 300, courtesy of Kawasaki Canada and Moto Vanier.

There was certainly no shortage of eye-candy on display.  At the show’s main entrance, The Rolling Stones bikes by Premont Harley-Davidson had heads turning and cameras flashing.  Everyone stopped at the exhibit to take a closer look at these one-of-a-kind motorcycles.  At BMW’s booth, Eye Ride – a virtual reality test ride where you can experience all of the fabulous reasons to ride – was also a popular attraction.

The record number of new models on display wowed the crowds and had everyone dreaming about their next two, three or four wheeled adventures.  Close to 500 vehicles, including off-road motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides, decorated the show floor.

The trials demonstrations proved once again to be a very entertaining activity for the whole family, and our pint-sized attendees had a ton of fun at the Yamaha Riding Academy.  More than 200 kids between the ages of 6 and 12 got all suited up in the latest motorcross gear and took to the youth riding circuit for a few smile-inducing laps around the kid-friendly course.

The Quebec City Motorcycle and ATV Show will be rolling back into town in 2017, from February 3-5, at the Centre de foires.  For anyone who missed the Quebec City stop last weekend, or for anyone looking for another dose of powersport action and interaction, be sure to check out The Montreal Motorcycle Show from February 26-28, 2016 at the Palais des congres de Montreal.
