EDMONTON, AB (November 4, 2015) – The Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance will roar into town on January 15th, 2016 and run through until 5:00 on January 17th at the Expo Centre, Northlands. This premiere industry event will feature the brand new line-up of 2016 motorcycles, ATVs and scooters.
This is the only opportunity for riders in Central Alberta to shop and compare makes and models from all the major manufacturers – all under one roof. This annual event also provides riding enthusiasts with the opportunity to check out what’s new in gear and accessories for the upcoming riding season.
Hundreds of exhibitors will be on hand to provide riders with information, rider education, charity rides, travel destinations as well as clubs and associations.
On Friday evening there will be a celebration of women who ride or would like to ride. Round up a group of girlfriends and head to the Show after 5:00 when admission is half price and find your perfect ride. The highlight of SHE RIDES NITE will be a draw for a 2016 Ninja EX300, provided by Canadian Kawasaki.
The experts from Yamaha will be on hand throughout the weekend to introduce kids between the ages of 6 and 12 to off road riding. Yamaha Riding Academy participants will not only receive basic safety training, but they will gear up and have the opportunity to take to the track on a bike, and learn to ride in a safe, supervised environment.
At scheduled times over the course of the weekend the rev of the engines permeates into the exhibit halls signaling the start of the MX Freestyle Show. This high-flying action packed feature is a must see for those that thrive on thrill and excitement. The dual ramp-to-ramp aerial antics will performed by some of the best MX Freestylers in North America, including Keith Sayers, Heath Frisby, Billy Kohut and Nick Dunne. It is sure to get the adrenaline pumping.
It is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder; no truer words were spoken when it comes to the distinctive look of some of the classic models that will be on display. The vintage motorcycle exhibit is provided by the Vintage MX Group, NORAL, and the Alberta Vintage Track Association who’s members have collected, restored and maintained their prized possession for decades.
The 2016 Motorcycle & ATV Show – Edmonton will wrap up on Sunday January 17th with one lucky show goer riding away on a 2016 Triumph valued at $12,000.
