TORONTO (January 19, 2017) – The 2017 national Motorcycle Show tour is in western Canada this month with shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Southern Ontario enthusiasts will have their chance to see the new 2017 motorcycle, ATV, side-by-side and scooter models when the tour visits Toronto’s Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, February 17-19.
The Motorcycle Show-Toronto presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance is Ontario’s only stop on the manufacturers’ Canadian seven-city show tour. It’s not just the new models that will be getting riders’ motors running in February. The Show has announced their grand prize draw – the Ultimate European Riding Vacation. The grand prize package for two to Portugal is sponsored by Europa Travel and MotoXplorer. The winners will enjoy an outstanding ride in southern Portugal’s Algarve and Alentejo regions touching the Mediterranean, the Monchique Mountains and Portugal’s famed wine country. “For many of us riders, the allure of the sport is travelling the open road and seeing new destinations. A chance to tour the southern region of Portugal on a BMW motorcycle would have to be on any rider’s bucket list – it’s definitely at the top of mine. “said Show Manager, Neil Fardy. “This grand prize will generate lots of excitement and we have to thank our partners at Europa Travel, MotoXplorer and Q107 FM for helping us put the package together.”
In addition to several new model debuts, the family-friendly Motorcycle Show-Toronto has special features that appeal to riders of all ages and experience levels, including Yamaha’s Riding Academy for Kids (ages 6-12), How To Riding Skills Demo’s with expert Clinton Smout, the Ontario Provincial Police’s Golden Helmets precision riding team, motorcycle stunt shows starring Canadian star Craig Latimer, and Jordan Szoke’s Extreme Show, featuring the Hall-of-Famer’s trials demos.
