NEW MODELS AND ENTERTAINMENT HI-LIGHT THE TORONTO SHOW

TORONTO, ON – A good sign that spring is on its way is when The Motorcycle Show Toronto presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance, opened its doors at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place on February 20 – 22, 2015. A great crowd of over 28,000 enthusiasts flowed through the gates to check out the new 2015 bikes, scooters, ATVs and side-by-sides, as well as take advantage of the added bonus of a jam-packed schedule of entertainment over the three-day event.

Friday kicked off with She Rides Nite with half price tickets after 5pm for the ladies and free parking. Special guest Valerie Thompson, 7X Land Speed Recorder Holder was on hand signing autographs in the BMW booth all day and interviewed on stage for She Rides Nite. Numerous performances could be taken in all weekend with features showcasing Canada’s top Superbike and Trials competitor, Jordan Szoke’s along with Dan Johnson and his son Aiden age 8 at the Trials Demonstrations; Team Empire’s adrenaline packed freestyle stunt show, Frank Woods hosted interviews in the Race Café, the OPP Golden Helmets Team took their machines through a series of complex patterns, learn from Clinton Smout’s “How To” Seminars and the always popular Yamaha Riding Academy for Kids allowed youngsters ages 6-12 a chance to test out a Yamaha TT-R off-road motorcycle.

The weekend was capped off on Sunday afternoon with the Grand Prize finalists coming back to the show to try their luck at winning a new 2015 Triumph Bonneville Newchurch Commemorative Special Edition Motorcycle from Triumph Motorcycles and Q107.There are only 25 of these Motorcycles available in Canada for 2015. So, when all was said and done, George, from Mitchel Ontario was the lucky winner who walked away with this awesome bike!
