TORONTO (February 28, 2014) – The Motorcycle Show–Toronto, Ontario’s foremost motorcycle manufacturers’ showcase, premiered at our new venue, The Direct Energy Centre on February 21–23, 2014. Nice weather, hot rides, and a jam-packed schedule of entertainment drew 29,539 enthusiasts out to the three-day event, up 5% from the previous show.

This year’s show featured non-stop entertainment, with performances by Canada’s top Superbike and Trials competitor, Jordan Szoke, Team Empire’s Ernie Vigil and Nick Brocha and their amazing freestyle stunt show, the OPP Golden Helmets Team, Clinton Smout’s “How To” Seminars, and the always popular Yamaha Riding Academy for Kids, which allowed youngsters ages 6-12 a chance to test out a Yamaha TT-R off-road motorcycle. She Rides Nite on the Friday offered a half-price entrance fee and prizes for ladies, and Frank Woods hosted interviews throughout the weekend in the Race Café, along with the Canadian premier of the movie “Why We Ride”.

“The Motorcycle Show-Toronto was a great success this year. From start to finish, exhibitors enjoyed favourable move-in facilities, strong crowds all three days and a bright fresh new look to the show,” said Show Manager Neil Fardy. “We had nothing but positive comments from exhibitors and visitors who enjoyed the amazing performances and the incredible showcase of top bikes, ATVs and scooters for 2014.”

Produced by Power Sport Services, the Motorcycle Show-Toronto boasts an impressive line-up of manufacturers and their corporate displays, including Aprilia, Arctic Cat, BMW Motorrad, Can-Am BRP, Deeley Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Honda, Husqvarna, Indian, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Norton, Piaggio, Polaris, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa, Victory and Yamaha.
